Twitter users have come out to question Lasizwe Dambuza about the R2 Million he collected from the #R10GoesALongWay campaign.
He worked on the fundraising campaign with Sibu Mabena, Takkies Dinwiddy, and King Aya started a fundraising initiative called #R10GoesALongWay hoping to help university students with registration fees and asked people to donate R10 towards assisting students with outstanding fees at tertiary institutions.
“WE DID IT JOE! We raised R1 000 000.00 for students to get registered in Universities in 5 days!!! We literally did it! Thank you to every single one of you who contributed R10 to this initiative. WE REALLY DID THAT!!” tweeted Lasizwe thanking everyone for their contributions, he tweeted.
Lasizwe started off the movement by pledging R10,000 of his own. Soon what started off as R10,000 grew to R100,000 in 15 hours, and R400,000 in less than 24 hours.

After raising over a R1-million, Standard Bank matched the amount.
