The Department of Basic Education amends matric exam timetable

The outbreak of Coronavirus in 2020 has jeopardized the learning routine, however, 2021 grade 12 pupils are set to sit for the November National Senior Certificate examination on the 1st of November 2021.

This was revealed on Monday when the Department of Basic Education posted to remind the Matrics to get ready for the final Examination, which drifted to start on November 1 up to December 7, 2021.

Same as the Class of 2020, The class of 2021 had insufficient time on schoolwork as president Cyril Ramaphosa called for school closure as a way to contain the coronavirus.

Much time was squandered on exercising Covid-19 protocols rather than on studies.
