South Africans must wait even longer for level 3 rules

The briefing by the National Coronavirus Command Council has been postponed yet again.  It was scheduled originally for Tuesday but was then moved to Wednesday at 12:30pm.  The council is expected to announce details of the regulations for the level 3 lockdown which begins on the 1st of June.  With only 3 working days left, it leaves very little time for citizens to prepare.  The briefing by the government’s social cluster on socio-economic measures have also been postponed.  This was set for Wednesday at 18:00.  Health minister Zweli Mkhize has said that coronavirus hotspots could be returned to level 4 if necessary.  Cape town, Johannesburg, Nelson Mandela Bay, and eThekwini have been identified as hotspots.
